Let’s face it, having that morning cup of coffee is a number-one priority in order to start your day off strong. Fortunately enough, St. Charles has many coffee shops that will help you kick-start your morning, or give you that midday boost. We highlight five of our favorite coffeehouses below.

Quality and sustainable. Those are perfect words to describe Kava Diem. They use single sourced, sustainable coffee beans to brew their coffee. However, their coffee isn’t the only thing that is quality and sustainable. Kava Diem serves up some delicious food that is organic, pasture raised, and humane. They only use high quality ingredients, so you can feel good about what you’re eating, and feel good about where it comes from. Kava Diem also has a beautiful outdoor patio facing the Fox River so that you can enjoy your coffee while taking in the great scenery. This is a perfect place to start your day off on a high note.
Arcedium Coffeehouse has been voted “Best Coffeehouse” for 5 years straight by the Kane County Chronicle, and for good reason, too. They produce amazing coffee and offer excellent sandwiches, salads, and baked goods. You can appreciate all of this while relaxing in their cozy café. If you just can't get enough of their coffee, you can even buy their beans in-store to make at home.
