4th of July
Patriotic Concert on the 1st Street Plaza

To kick-off all the 4th of July celebrations, the City of St. Charles is hosting a Patriotic Band Concert on the 1st Street Plaza from 12:00 PM-1:00 PM. The Fox Valley Concert Band will be performing live - so be sure to swing by to hear some incredible music while enjoying beautiful downtown St. Charles.
Otter Cove Aquatic Park

Make a splash at Otter Cove Aquatic Park's All-American Splash Bash on July 4th starting at 10:00 AM. With festive decor, patriotic treats, and of course, plenty of red, white and blue spirit, this is the place to cool off and have a blast before the firework show later in the evening.
4th of July Block Party

A 4th of July Block Party? Sign us up! On Riverside Avenue, four local businesses (The Graceful Ordinary, Dukes Northwoods, Flagship on the Fox, and Pollyanna Brewing & Distilling) are coming together to host a family-friendly party perfect for celebrating the fireworks. Starting at 6:30 PM, you can enjoy a pig roast and more, as well as a backyard-style feel, a festive summer atmosphere, and great firework views. Firework Show & Activities
The moment everyone has been waiting for - the 4th of July Firework Show! Starting once it gets dark, you'll get to admire fireworks light up the St. Charles. The St. Charles Park District recommends Langum Park and Mt. St. Mary Park for the very best views. Although Pottawatomie Park is not a viewing site for the fireworks, there will be plenty of activities taking place throughout the day for families to enjoy. A week prior to the 4th of July Celebration - you can start celebrating America's 250th birthday one step at a time at Stars, Stripes & Steps hosted by the St. Charles Park District. Starting at Mt. St. Mary Park at 8:00 AM, make sure to wear your red, white, and blue as this untimed, 2.5 mile walk will take you through the park and nearby neighborhoods. All fitness levels welcome. Registration is required.
