Heinz Brothers Greenhouse Garden Center has been growing in St. Charles for more than 60 years. While the business has been in operation since the 1940s, Joel F. and Joan Schrock purchased it in 1979, eventually leading to the current owner, Jay Schrock, taking over the business in 2008. Heinz Brother has been in its current location since 1985 and continue to grow their roots here in St. Charles.
As a locally owned greenhouse, they cultivate thousands of annuals, perennials, hanging baskets, vegetables, herbs, and custom planters that bring color to homes and landscapes throughout the community.
Every one of their thriving plants has a beginning, and for many it starts with a plug.
Each one is carefully planted, watered, and nurtured as it grows, and over time, those young plants flourish into vibrant mixed containers, where a variety of blooms thrive together to create beautiful combinations of color and texture.
All the plants at their greenhouse are tended to by the Heinz Brothers team before they reach your home. And when you're ready to grow your own, you'll find everything you need to create a garden that supports pollinators and helps our community blossom.
