Plan Your Romantic Valentine's Date in St. Charles, Illinois

Love is in the air in St. Charles, Illinois. As lovely of a holiday as Valentine's Day is, it can sometimes be a bit stressful planning the perfect evening for you and your significant other, but fortunately, St. Charles has all the resources to make sure that your evening is one to remember. Here's how you can have a fun, romantic evening out in this city.

Give a Gift

It's always a good idea to get your date a little something for Valentine's Day, even if you are planning an exciting night out. You can't go wrong with the classic gifts of flowers and sweets, and it'll show your significant other just how much you appreciate them. Becky's Bouquets and Paragon Flowers are two florists in town where you can pick up beautiful flowers, as they both have arrangement options that include roses, tulips, and much more. They both offer delivery, as well, so that you can send your Valentine the wonderful blooms as a surprise.

Picking up a treat to go along with the flowers makes for a terrific combination. Kilwins has delectable chocolates, fudge, and more that your partner will absolutely love. Rocket Fizz is another spot to get some goodies, as they have a huge selection of candy and soda. Right now through Valentine's Day, when you spend $20 or more, you can take their prize wheel for a spin, too! If you bring your better half, they'll even give you an extra spin!

Do an Activity

Now that you've bought the gifts, it's time to start planning what activity to take part in on Valentine's Day evening. You can never go wrong with a movie at Charlestowne 18 and catch that film that you and your Valentine have been meaning to see. Pick up some candy and popcorn too, and enjoy the show!

Adding the element of a little friendly competition can make for an exciting date. Test your strength and accuracy at Splinter's Axe Throwing, and see which one of you can hit that bullseye first! You can reserve your lane here.

St. Charles is home to an incredible art scene, so this year, visit a gallery with your significant other for Valentine's Day. 116 Gallery is the premier independent gallery showcasing both national and international artists' works of art. This is a great way to discover your new favorite artists and appreciate the visual art up close.
