The 2019 St. Charles Scarecrow Festival is Oct. 11-13! The 34th annual Scarecrow Fest will feature the Scarecrow Contest, Live Entertainment and Make Your Own Scarecrow in Lincoln Park, Autumn on the Fox Arts & Crafts Show in Pottawatomie Park and the Windy City Amusement Carnival in the parking lot at 3rd St. & Cedar St.
We are also still in need of a lot of volunteers to help with the event. Volunteers may register here.
The highly attended Electric Christmas Parade is coming back for another great year in downtown St. Charles, and registration for the parade is open.
Local businesses, community groups and non-profits are encouraged to participate. The deadline for entries is Friday, Oct. 20. Entries must submit three items to the Alliance in order to complete their entry: an entry application, certificate of insurance forms and an entry fee. All forms can be found here and the entry fee is $275 for businesses, $150 for St. Charles Businesses and $25 for non-profit organizations.

Downtown St. Charles is lucky to be home to so many incredible businesses and organizations that work to make this community and the lives of the people in it better. One such organization is the Tchp St. Charles, a non-for-profit organization that is dedicated to helping out individuals who may not be able to afford dental or medical services get the treatment they need.
